As part of the LIFE ADAPT’ISLAND project, we are organizing mini workshops in Brussels in collaboration with our co-beneficiaries PILOT4DEV and URAPEG-FNE.
The second one took place on November 30th at the Press Club in Brussels, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
It was an opportunity to present the project closer to European institutions and to encourage exchanges with other European projects, as well as with representatives of European agencies working on the issue of adaptation to climate change.
Representatives from CINEA were in attendance, as well as ESPO General Secretary Isabelle Ryckbost and Anaëlle BOUDRY, in charge of the ECOPORT label (see photo). In all, there were 34 online and 11 face-to-face participants.
Reia Guppy, our coral expert on the project’s international scientific committee, was able to take part in the exchanges from Trinidad and provide details on this key ecosystem and the project’s good results in this field.
We would like to thank Pascaline GABORIT, PILOT4DEV Director, for organizing this event.
